El Yunque Rainforest
Explore the misty trails of the world famous “El Yunque” National Rainforest, (the only Rainforest in the U.S. National Park system) starting with a visit to the "El Portal" Visitor Center. Guests will enjoy a short movie and time for shopping at the souvenir shop. Then a brisk hike to La Coca Waterfall plus a stop at the Yokahu Tower and depending on the schedule, hiking along the Caimitillo Trail (an approximate 20 minute walk) or La Mina Waterfall (an approximate 1 1/2 hour walk). Along the tour, your guide will be pointing out and explaining the endemic species of our rainforest.
Our extended tour includes a stop at Luquillo Beach, for an aproxímate 2 hrs. The beach is a crescent shape with calm waters perfect for swimming. Sunbathe and swim on a perfect crescent of sand at Luquillo beach, a palm tree-lined beach with sublime views of Puerto Rico’s ‘El Yunque’ rainforest-covered mountains in the distance.
FlyBoarding for thrill Seekers!
Calling all thrill seekers, this 30-minute Flyboard experience in Luquillo is guaranteed to get your adrenaline levels soaring! On a state-of-the-art Flyboard, you’ll skyrocket into the air and enjoy stunning views of San Juan’s coastline. Under the guidance of an instructor, you’ll learn to master maneuvers such as the corkscrew or tornado just like a professional. The minimum age for this activity is 13 years of age.
